According to a few different models, a roaring high pressure system looks to take control over the east coast by the end of the next week. Along with this ridge, the temperatures look to return back a “summer” like feel. Hopefully a few of you don’t mind the return to the heat? Good news, if you don’t like the heat, this looks to be the last true heat wave for the east coast for the remainder of the year.

A cold front moving through will bring some pretty decent amount of rainfall for portions of the Mississippi valley by mid-day, then moving through Tennessee and Carolinas by the evening hours.
